about

During the winter of 2014, a meaningful trade of tales from the past led to these tracks in their most elementary form. Gradually, as Split Discs grew together, so did the story. "Slam Dunk" serves as the opening credit sequence for the propulsive story of EMAR.

Tracing one boys life from his entrance into the first grade through his departure from high school, we follow and reflect on the nature of life, love, loss, family, leffe. With "Spark the Light" showcasing the juxtaposition between love and narcotics, "Baby's Gone" transporting us back into our imaginations, and "10th Grade" lamenting on grief and alcoholism, EMAR goes deeper than the surface.

At only half an hour in length, EMAR rockets you towards it cathartic conclusion, at which point we ask you all to consider.

Thank you,
The Boston Bullies (formerly Split Discs)
